VADMO Tourism Leadership Institute (VTLI).
The program’s purpose is to retain, attract, and develop tourism professionals into innovative and accomplished thought leaders who build strong tourism programs in localities and regions across the Commonwealth.

The first VTLI class is in session, with graduation in April 2026.
We will reopen the application process in Spring of 2026 and encourage all interested parties to apply to this second cohort.

CURRICULUM
Session Dates and Locations for the 2024/25 VADMO Tourism Leadership Institute are below. Participants will be required to attend all four (4) sessions to be eligible for graduation and certification.
Part of the VTLI curriculum is the formation of a Tourism Impact Project (TIP) to address identified needs in a participant’s community, with implementation of the plan following graduation.

TUITION/PAYMENT SCHEDULE
The VADMO Tourism Leadership Institute (VTLI) Tuition is: $1,500 per student (VADMO member) or $2,000 per student (Non VADMO members). Tuition covers meeting facilities, speakers, meals, program materials, and credentialing process. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and lodging to each session location.
